Our instructors have all the necessary qualifications required for the classes they conduct. At least one of the instructors leading the classes on a given day and for a specific group holds a motor sports instructor and/or a driving technique instructor certification.
On the track, you will drive 6 to 8 times throughout the day (unless an accident on the track prevents entry). Sessions will last from 15 to 20 minutes. Before driving, we will discuss safety issues on the track and briefly explain the meanings of the basic flags. You will also receive a lecture on the basics of sports driving, and an instructor will guide you along the proper racing line during the first session. You can use the catering service throughout the day without any restrictions.
First of all, you should prepare your motorcycle for track riding so that it meets the venue's requirements regarding exhaust noise. However, if you have a relatively new motorcycle and your exhaust has European homologation, you probably don't have to worry. Upon arrival at the venue, please report to us to confirm your presence and group assignment.
- Poznań Track - 98 dB measured dynamically on the start-finish straight. The equivalent loudness during riding meets the static loudness standards at approximately: 7000 RPM for 600 cc and 300 cc, 5500 RPM for 1000 cc.
- WallraV Race Center - 100 dB measured in 3/4 of the RPM range/max.
- Łódź Track - 98 dB measured in 3/4 of the RPM range/max.
- Radom Kartodrome - 96 dB measured at half of the RPM range/max.
- Krzywa Track - no restrictions.
- Słomczyn Autodrome - no restrictions.
- SteelRing Trinec - 96 dB or an effective DB killer installed.
WARNING: The rules for permissible exhaust noise emissions are defined by the internal regulations of the tracks. The organizer has no influence over them. Any noise emission testing is conducted by the facility's staff. Exact regulations regarding noise emission can be found in the track regulations. A motorcycle that does not meet the noise standards with a factory exhaust is the Ducati Panigale V4; it must have an additional DB killer or a different exhaust installed.
If you ride a pit bike, you must wear fuel, oil, and coolant containers. Before entering the track, make sure to remove jewelry (neck chains, earrings, watches, and rings). We ask that you cover any glass elements, such as the headlight and indicators, with tape (we recommend "duct tape" as it does not leave residue). Glass or plastic can shatter on the track during a fall and pose a threat to other participants. You should also remove any unnecessary road gadgets from the motorcycle, such as saddlebags and extra luggage mounts.
You will enter the track 6 to 8 times throughout the day (unless an accident on the track prevents entry). Training sessions will last from 15 to 20 minutes. During this time, instructors will assign you exercises to perform. In the time between sessions, you will discuss your driving with a focus on the elements assigned by the instructor. We have also planned group lectures and a walkthrough of the track with a detailed discussion of the individual sections.
A motorcycle does not have to be insured, however, we recommend purchasing personal liability insurance (OC) and accident insurance (NNW), which covers events on the track. The organizer has liability insurance, but we will not pay compensation if you are at fault in the incident or if the incident occurs due to random causes beyond the organizer's control. When reporting a claim to the insurance company under the NNW policy, you must inform the insurer that the damage occurred during motorcycle training. At our events, you have the option to purchase NNW insurance. If you participate in a race and do not have a valid sports license, then additional insurance in the amount of 25 PLN applies.
If you are a beginner and will be riding in beginner groups and not participating in a race, we require a helmet with road approval, motorcycle boots, and pants with protectors. The suit does not have to be leather; however, you must have a back protector (integrated with the jacket or a so-called "turtle") and the pants must be zipped to the jacket. If you expect sports training for "aspiring" or "professional" riders, you should be dressed according to the "Rules of Motorcycle Racing on Tracks." The document is available here: [Motorcycle Racing | Polish Motor Union (pzm.pl)](https://pzm.pl/regulaminy/wyscigi-motocyklowe).
There is no need to remind how important knowledge of safety rules on the track is. Every motorcyclist riding on the track must know the following rules.
Flags are the only effective way of communication between the track staff and the driver racing on the track. Knowing them is essential.
Basic Flags:
- Checkered flag:
a) Free lap: you have a pit stop lap left, go to the depot after passing the checkered flag waved at START-FINISH, meaning complete the pit stop lap and enter at the designated spot.
b) Race: finish. After passing the checkered flag, do not brake abruptly. Complete the lap and head to the depot.
- Green: you may enter the track/the track is clear of obstacles/cancellation of the yellow flag.
- Yellow: danger in the next section of the track. Drive carefully. Overtaking is prohibited.
- Two yellow flags: same as above, but additionally, the track is partially blocked.
- Red: training or race interrupted! Complete the lap while exercising extreme caution and go to the depot. Follow the instructions from the officials.
- Blue: a faster competitor is behind you; you will be overtaken.
- Black: signal for a single driver. You probably did something wrong. Complete the lap and go to the depot. In a race, a black flag means disqualification of the driver.
- Yellow and red striped: attention, possible change in track grip (water, oil, sand, etc.). Exercise extreme caution. Overtaking is allowed.
- White with a diagonal cross (across): first drops of rain in the next section of the track.
1. Always listen to the flag commands and the pit crew.
2. If you want to end the session before the designated time, raise your hand high before heading to the pit.
3. Always drive in the designated direction.
4. Never stop on the track or on the outside of a corner. If you feel uneasy or witness an accident, report it to the pit crew and do not stop on the track. Stopping on the track poses a risk of death, injury, and exclusion from future events.
5. Do not brake suddenly in the middle of the starting straight. Drive predictably!
6. Be cautious when overtaking; the overtaking driver must be aware of the driver being overtaken.
7. If a significantly faster participant is behind you, facilitate their overtaking. Do not change your driving line.
8. Exercise particular caution during the first session. Most accidents happen during this time.
9. Respect other participants of the rides.
10. Never enter the track or the area next to the track.
11. Adhere to the speed limit in the paddock of 5 km/h.
12. Before riding, remove all jewelry (chains, rings, watches, etc.).
13. A sports camera cannot be mounted on the helmet. If mounted on the motorcycle, it must have an additional safety leash.
